Despite the fact Lily has never actually met Lucius in person, she already has an extreme dislike towards the Slytherin. Although most would think it to do with house rivalry, in her mind it is something completely different. She dispises the man as he was part of the group that Severus got himself involved in, the group that she completely disagreed with. Also, Lily has heard some rather cruel tales about Lucius' actions towards others, and although she is unaware of the amount of truth in those tales, she chooses to think it true.

sirius...well, he's heard of malfoy; a favorite of his parents, so yes, he pretty much loathes him. apparently, as well, he fancies narcissa black, another characteristic that will simply make malfoy go in deeper in sirius' bad book. although lucius is a year older than sirius, there's bound to be some sort of confrontation between the two. after all, gryffindor vs. slytherin; where's the catch?

Lucius and Narcissa may probably have on of the most complext relationships within the walls of Hogwarts. What started as a mutual enemies, now landed up to end as a deep friendship. And who knows, perhaps their relationship might even go slighlt further. Of course, everything isn't always as sweet and soft as cotton candy between these two. It is quite known that Narcissa has a temper of her own, and well, not to mention Lucius. Sparks mightly be flying while these two are with each other... .

Regulus met Lucius through one of the things they have in commen. They don't have too much in commen, but they are in the same house. He would obviously be known as being the brother of the idiot in Gryffindor, but he was just he better Black. Lucius came across Regulus whilst he was having a good old Black Brother argument with Sirius, one of the more heated ones where not just words were flying back and forth. Lucius decided to intervean, saving Regulus from a good few nasty curses that Sirius sent his way. Regulus didn't know if he was doing it because he didn't like Sirius, which was probably the case, or because he wanted to. Either way, he was grateful. And really, Regulus doesn't like to show he's grateful. Sign of weakness and all that, he's quite proud as they go. But Regulus does look up to Lucius in his own way, he sees Lucius as someone who would make a much better brother than Sirius when he's in a modd with his brother, which is quite often.

Well, Lucius and Alecto have never been truly great friends. Of course they hung around every once in a while, finding each other company rather.. pleasurable, certainly when there was some firewhiskey involved in the game. Now, she and Narcissa have never been the best friends, and that also shows in her relationship with Lucius. Whenever Narcissa's around, she'll try to outrun the girl, giving Lucius slightly more attention then he deserves in her opinion. But ultimately the goal is clear. She just wants him in her bed, if its for real? Or just because she wants a shag? Or just because she detests Narcissa? Only time can tell.

emmeline mostly knows lucius through her grandfather, about how perfect he is as a pureblood, which has led emmeline to dislike him. to her, lucius stands for everything she is against, and she does not make an effort to talk to him, or even be near him. she just doesn't care. she thinks that he's an idiot, and vice versa. they're opposite ends of the spectrum, and the only thing emmeline would say to him would probably rude and/or insulting.

While Lucius and Alexis have hardly spoken more than ten words to one another, there is an almost tangible tension between the two, if not the kind most would expect. Both having grown up hearing stories about the other's family, it was with a sort of awe that they took one another in. Alexis treated Lucius with the same cautious indifference she gave everyone she didn't know, but after having caught him studying her more than once grew more annoyed. She'd never admit out loud let alone to herself that she found him attractive, nor would she mention that she detested not knowing why he continued to stare at her.

Dorcas' father died when she was eleven, unfortunatley leaving her mother to cope with Dorcas through her teenage years. Dorcas' parents having had an arranged marriage were like chalk and cheese, they had no common grounds in their social views nor on how to raise their only Child.

Dorcas' father had always insisted Dorcas was never pushed into any sort of arranged marriages, Dorcas' mother however came from an exceedingly long line of purebloods that believed an arranged marriage was the only way to be wed as it ensured the purity of future generations and so, Dorcas' mother set about trying to find pureblooded suitors for her daughter, not that it was too hard to look. The Lestrange's had a son close to her age, the Malfoy's, the Nott's, the Black's and not to mention countless others, but Dorcas was always objective to the men her mother would suggest.

But that didn't stop Dorcas from looking at them in the non-marital way. Just because she didn't want to settle down and marry a guy, just to keep the pureblood mania going, didn't mean she didn't have other interests in them, and Dorcas' mother, believing her still young, sweet and 'innocent' had no idea of Dorcas' true motives when she talked to these fine young gentlemen.

It wasn't as if Lucius had been introduced as a stranger to Dorcas, like a few of the guys her mother insisted she met with. They were in the same year and house at Hogwarts and pretty much studying the exact same things. Spending so long with someone you did tend to find them a little more than annoying from time to time but you didn't just pick up on their negative qualities, you could notice their positive ones too, and much to contrary belief, Lucius did have a lot of good qualities . . . though Dorcas had to admit, his body and looks were the main ones.

Constantly a flirt, Dorcas enjoyed her conversations with Lucius, filled with innuendo's and sometimes just not a lot said, leaving the imagination to fill in a lot of blanks, but one day the flirting went a little too far in the common room and Dorcas ended up in Lucius' bed. Not that she minded in the slightest, but after that she didn't talk to Lucius quite as much but still, when she was around him she still acted the same way as before, only occasionally referring to the time they slept together.

Although the Sinclairs were never – and likely never would be – a prominent pureblooded family, there were occasions when a fancy invitation would make its way into her mother’s hands requesting the family’s attendance. Genevieve had met Lucius only once prior to being accepted into Hogwarts and even then the exchange was very brief and insignificant. The party itself was more or less a show of popularity and wealth after all, many individuals appearing for the sake of their reputations and leaving after an hour or so of pointless mingling. Little did the young girl realize she would be seeing this boy far more often than anyone might have originally predicted.

Upon being sorted into Slytherin, Genevieve found she recognized one individual’s face, having clearly seen it before, but dismissed the strange feeling for several weeks. Eventually they engaged in small talk when they caught one another in the Common Room and tended to move in the same social circles. For the most part however, Sinclair and Malfoy unconsciously avoided one another’s company. That is until he started to become something of an aggravation. Befriending Narcissa Black, if you were to ask her, would be one of Genevieve’s more impressive accomplishments. She values their friendship a great deal, and with Lucius proving himself to be an obstacle in this … well, it has aroused some hostility within her.

Making it a point to watch him more carefully, Genevieve has conceded that he is a negative influence on Cissa and voices such an opinion whenever the opportunity arises.

‘Ah, Lucius Malfoy. I’m afraid there aren’t words elaborate enough for me to effectively describe what it is I feel for him. To simplify it, I suppose I could say that it’s a complicated mix of things. Thanks to my father I harbour a deep resentment for attractive, powerful men who take advantage of the effect they have on women. Narcissa’s obsession with Malfoy is borderline ridiculous I’ll admit but it wouldn’t be quite so grating on the nerves if he wasn’t so unpredictable. I adore Cissa and I’ve told her countless times that her well-being and happiness is important to me. And when I watch her speak with Lucius, I feel as though his smile is deceiving her. It’s as though he is drawing her in with the intention of using her as just another tool. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to convince her that getting so attached to him is a bad idea.

From what I’ve witnessed over the years, Lucius has shown himself to be both a loner and manipulator. At one time he was emotionally detached and uninterested in the people around him, and I could sense the malice that he concealed beneath that blank expression he always wore. But suddenly – as though overnight – he’d become a charismatic, enthusiastic speaker and exceedingly popular student. People wanted to be like him and it escaped me entirely. What had induced such a dramatic change in behaviour? Why had he decided to come out of his shell? Part of me speculates it has something to do with living up to the notorious Malfoy reputation. He is playing everyone like a fool. It’s just that none of them realize it.

Over the past few months I have made it plain that I both dislike and distrust him. Whether he has decided to acknowledge my opinion I have no idea, and neither do I care. However I will not stop insisting that Narcissa make herself aware of who he really is and what he may be capable of. She has too bright a future ahead of her to have it controlled and dictated to her by someone as power hungry and arrogant as Lucius Malfoy. Understandably she is attracted to the idea of being on the arm of someone so unearthly attractive and well-spoken. But at what cost?

If this makes us rivals so be it. I’m looking forward to hearing what’s really on his mind.'

Although the Sinclairs were never – and likely never would be – a prominent pureblooded family, there were occasions when a fancy invitation would make its way into her mother’s hands requesting the family’s attendance. Genevieve had met Lucius only once prior to being accepted into Hogwarts and even then the exchange was very brief and insignificant. The party itself was more or less a show of popularity and wealth after all, many individuals appearing for the sake of their reputations and leaving after an hour or so of pointless mingling. Little did the young girl realize she would be seeing this boy far more often than anyone might have originally predicted.

Upon being sorted into Slytherin, Genevieve found she recognized one individual’s face, having clearly seen it before, but dismissed the strange feeling for several weeks. Eventually they engaged in small talk when they caught one another in the Common Room and tended to move in the same social circles. For the most part however, Sinclair and Malfoy unconsciously avoided one another’s company. That is until he started to become something of an aggravation. Befriending Narcissa Black, if you were to ask her, would be one of Genevieve’s more impressive accomplishments. She values their friendship a great deal, and with Lucius proving himself to be an obstacle in this … well, it has aroused some hostility within her.

Making it a point to watch him more carefully, Genevieve has conceded that he is a negative influence on Cissa and voices such an opinion whenever the opportunity arises.

‘Ah, Lucius Malfoy. I’m afraid there aren’t words elaborate enough for me to effectively describe what it is I feel for him. To simplify it, I suppose I could say that it’s a complicated mix of things. Thanks to my father I harbour a deep resentment for attractive, powerful men who take advantage of the effect they have on women. Narcissa’s obsession with Malfoy is borderline ridiculous I’ll admit but it wouldn’t be quite so grating on the nerves if he wasn’t so unpredictable. I adore Cissa and I’ve told her countless times that her well-being and happiness is important to me. And when I watch her speak with Lucius, I feel as though his smile is deceiving her. It’s as though he is drawing her in with the intention of using her as just another tool. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to convince her that getting so attached to him is a bad idea.

From what I’ve witnessed over the years, Lucius has shown himself to be both a loner and manipulator. At one time he was emotionally detached and uninterested in the people around him, and I could sense the malice that he concealed beneath that blank expression he always wore. But suddenly – as though overnight – he’d become a charismatic, enthusiastic speaker and exceedingly popular student. People wanted to be like him and it escaped me entirely. What had induced such a dramatic change in behaviour? Why had he decided to come out of his shell? Part of me speculates it has something to do with living up to the notorious Malfoy reputation. He is playing everyone like a fool. It’s just that none of them realize it.

Over the past few months I have made it plain that I both dislike and distrust him. Whether he has decided to acknowledge my opinion I have no idea, and neither do I care. However I will not stop insisting that Narcissa make herself aware of who he really is and what he may be capable of. She has too bright a future ahead of her to have it controlled and dictated to her by someone as power hungry and arrogant as Lucius Malfoy. Understandably she is attracted to the idea of being on the arm of someone so unearthly attractive and well-spoken. But at what cost?

If this makes us rivals so be it. I’m looking forward to hearing what’s really on his mind.'
