Regulus yawned, stretching his arms towards the grey sky. His broomstick was leaning across one shoulder and onto the next around the back of his neck, giving him the freedom of his hands. Although his hands were actually just shoved into the pockets of his black and green robe. It billowed around him in the wind, since it wasn't actually done up the front. He had one stiff shoulder from sleeping wrong on it and was working hard to get all the kinks out of his muscles. It was working fairly well on the whole. With a shake of his black hair to get it out of his vision, he took the broom in one hand at the handle. Where else do you think its sensible to grasp it.
It was easy for him to mount the broom even if he was a good three hundred feet from the Quiddich pitch. In his left hand was the golden, fidgiting form of the snitch. He could easily close his long fingers around it without stretching. Once he was airborn and sitting comfortably on the broom, he opened his hand. The tiny thing flitted in front of his eyes for a moment before vanishing with a little shhhnikawoosh noise. He let it pass, watching it with calm brown eyes. He sat back, watching the grown slowly grow smaller as the broom rose. His robe still flapped around him, not that he cared too much. Cold was all good and true, but who cared.
He wasn't a seeker at all, he was a Keeper, but he just thought he'd lose it before the next game. It usually stayed around the Quiddich Pitch and it gave someone something to do at that time when they thought they might go for a fly. He sat comfortably on his broom, watching those below skim around. He held his broom in one hand with his left hand, his right still in his pocket. He was left handed and so it made sense. He looked over the pitch as a player rose up towards him, rocketing after the bewitched snitch he had let go. He waited, counting in his head as the Seeker got closer and closer to the snitch, hand outstretched. Then it exploded into a large blue fireball. Reggie tipped his head onto one side, just watching, well this was his passion.

Today was a normal Day for Veronica Chase, she'd gotten up eaten breakfast alone before everyone else came in and was now walking around the grounds with her head in a book. Today she was reading the Wind in the Willows, an amazing muggle book which had her from the moment she started reading it, it was a great story and she was over half way through it. She'd only started reading it this morning and as normal she was going to end up going back to the library in a while to get a different book.
The women in the library often made jokes that she should get a revolving door fitted just for Roo so that she could come in and out and still read while she was doing it. Veronica just smiled softly when the women cracked the joke she was used to just smiling and taking the things that people say to her with a pinch of salt.
Ronny stopped in time to see she was walking right towards the quidditch pitch, thinking quickly she decided that sitting up in one of the spectator's boxes would be a perfect place to not be bothered right? After all quidditch plays were too busy playing quidditch to notice a nobody sat reading.
Veronica headed over to the Ravenclaw box and went up the stairs to the top and then sat down and carried on reading. Her eyes glanced up from time to time making sure no one saw her, that last thing she wanted today was to be picked on by a Slytherin...
but then again Roo never got what she wanted!

It was another cool day, nice gray sky and not too cold either. Classes were behind Natalie and though she would normally spend her time inside seeking someone to torture or reading, well she decided a breath of fresh air would do her good. She had already changed into a dark green blouse and black skirt but she pulled her house robes over her to shield her from the cold. Not that she didn't have any plain robes, she just didn't normally wear them here because she liked to show off her house pride.
The grounds were pleasant to say the least, not overly crowded and a pretty good temperature. She first started to walk towards the Black Lake but a small commotion coming from the quidditch pitch pulled at her interest. Now she was by no means a fan enough to play the game and if it didn't include house rivalry she might not watch it at all. But seeing as how she had nothing else to do she followed the soft sound and soon found a small crowd gathered there. Was it a game or was it practice? It didn't really matter, there wasn't that many people here so she guessed the latter. She gave a slight sigh and made her way over to the Slytherin section where she noticed a few of her house mates.
Her dark eyes watched the small group, suddenly seeing one spring up in the air and appearing to be chasing something. Obviously it had to be the snitch. I mean she couldn't see it and he seemed hell bent on something. Of course this quickly turned into a disaster when the thing exploded into a large blue fireball. A smirk passed across her lips and though it could be possible for a Gryffindor to pull this kind of prank off, well it just rang Slytherin. Immediately she started looking around the pitch, first checking the stands which all seemed equally stunned, and then scanning the skies. Who was it behind this?
