it's fearless to have faith that someday things might change. It's fearless to fall in love with your best friend - even though he's in love with someone else. Fearless is allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor. It's fearless to say goodbye to someone that only hurts you - even if you can't breathe without them. And it's definitely fearless to walk into your freshman year of high school at fifteen and not know anyone. The summer is quickly fading, but the Laguna Beach sun shines brighter then ever; the pacific ocean is still flawless; and it's pretty faces are still fearless. They say it's fearless living in spite of those things that scare you to death, and one of the scariest things is to leave everything you know behind. And it's no secret that things are about to change - for everyone. A clique full of self proclaimed princesses that once ruled the school are about to take off their crowns forever. Freshman are about to enter a life style of secrets, gossip, and lies while seniors are about to start a whole new chapter in life. But it's not all about goodbyes. It's about new starts and changes. There are three generations behind these seniors, and things aren't about to slow down. When the west coast sun shines and the waves crash down on the shore, everything seems perfect. But when night falls and the parties start, the drugs and alcohol surface. For some it's all apart of the high school experience, and for others they will find it's not their scene at all. Once this year is over, there's no telling where life will take the class of 2009. Some will want to forget their past and start over; others expect to find their true love. Some feel they are destined to make a change, and others will want to believe in fairytales even though reality is on the horizon. It's fearless to let go of everything you once knew. Then again, starting over and being okay - that's fearless, too!
