The novelty of being at Hogwarts may have worn off after the fourth year for the most part, but the feeling of being metres into the air, sweeping the heavens was still just as exhilerating and exciting as ever. For this reason, Johanna made her way to the quidditch pitch. She wore tightly fitted casual jeans, and a brown sweater, with the hood up, and her eyes hidden behind large dark sunglasses. She would have loved to be out in a tank top and shorts on such a lovely day, but she was forced to cover herself, for fear of burning in the light. Her pale skin was much too sensitive for those sort of clothing. Sensitive skin or not, those kinds of clothes weren't very flattering to her figure anyway.
She didn't bother with the locker rooms. Everyone else, as far as she knew, was in the great hall, taking their time with breakfast, before heading to classes. Johanna had crammed down four pieces of toast before running out of the school with her mouth still stuffed, her broom in one hand. She put her bag up against the wall of the pitch, her school books, uniform, and some other items inside, and strode out into the middle of the field. She didn't have much time before she would have to run to her first class, but she just couldn't wait any longer to be in the air again.

The look on the handsome Gryffindor's face was priceless he wasn't in the mood for going to breakfast and seeing as his little lap dog had actually left him alone for 5 minutes Zeke Thomas made a dash for the outside, he wasn't going to sit there and have that idiot talk and talk to him about pointless crap that he really didn't care about!
The handsome boy walked with his hands deep in his pockets not really caring where he walked to or what he did all he knew was that he wasn't going back to the school until first period was over. He hated going to Muggle studies, why he took it was beyond him, he didn't like Muggles... infact he hated muggles they were filth as far as he was cared they could all die and he would be happy!
Zeke Thomas ran his hand through his hair as he walked, he looked up as he realised that he was by the quidditch pitch. He never cared for Quidditch, it was something he seemed to feel was rather pointless but then again so was waiting till he had finished school to become a Vampire, but that was what he was going to do. Maybe disappear for a while then come out of hiding and go on a muggle killing spree!
Oh that sounded like heaven!
The boy leaned on the wall and looked up at the person flying around on her broom, maybe the quidditch pitch could have some use after all right?

The wind rushed suddenly past Johanna, knocking her hood back, revealing her pale white hair and face as she jumped on the broom, and took off suddenly into the air. She hooked her ankle around the broom behind her to keep it balanced while she pulled the hood back up, a few stray strands of ivory hair falling into her face. She didn't bother with those strands longer than it took to brush them aside. With that out of the way, she bolted from one end of the field to the other, enjoying the feeling the wind gave her as it rushed under her hood, around her neck. She would most likely have to adjust her hood more than once this morning.
She was in the middle of doing a circle around the stadium, when something caught her attention from the corner of her eye. Rather, someone did. She could see a boy, about her age from what she could tell from so high up, leaning on the wall to the pitch. She had been almost certain that no one had followed her our of the school. Either she was wrong, or this was a coincidence. Whether or not it was a good one, was too soon to tell. She ignored him for a while, continuing to circle and loop, pushing the thought of being watched to the back of her mind, allowing the exhilaration to take over again, until, once again, he caught her eye. Why is he just sitting there staring?
She lowered herself near to the ground, not to far in front of him, and took in his features. He looked familiar, but after six years, so did everyone else. She raised an eyebrow and waited for him to speak, if he was going to. If he didn't soon, she would just continue flying.

Mr Thomas watched the girl, a small smirk appearing on his lips as his best pick up lines appeared in his mind... Of course not many people knew of his ways, the Slytherins did, but that was because one of the girls went around telling everyone how good he was in bed and of course the Gryffindor lot knew because he'd bedded a lot of them over the past year this year he was going after the bigger fish and wasn't going to stop at anything getting any of them.
When the girl hovered lower he looked at her and smiled softly. "Wow... you're even more beautiful up close." He said with his soft smooth vocals and the look in his eye that said he was being honest and not trying to pick her up, it had taken a long time to get that look and well now it was perfect and most girls belived him, of course if they didn't he used his 'my parents died when i was younger and i have no one left' line which always worked everytime.
Zeke looked at the girl and then pushed himself off of the wall, he walked over to her and held out his hand. "Hi, i'm Zeke." He said with his smooth vocals. "And who might you be?" He asked before kissing her hand and looking up at her. If he wasn't such a player he could be a true gentleman and one of the sweetest boyfriends ever!

The boy seemed to have problems with his eyes. Beautiful was never a description she had heard of herself. The closest to it that she could recall up until this point had been 'exotic'. It was a far stretch between, and as sincere as the boy looked, Johanna didn't believe it for a second. Her dull red eyes peered suspiciously from beneath her white lashes, hidden behind her dark glasses, wary of the true meaning to his greeting, and before that, staring. She decided to humor him though. Perhaps he was only attempting to be a gentleman after all.
"Johanna Devarhoe." She made to shake his hand, and was startled when he placed his lips on her hand, without even hesitating to take in the fact that her pallor was, in fact, natural. "You're a Gryffindor I assume?" She stated after taking in his robes. "You might know my brother then, he's a seventh year." She hid a smirk behind a friendly smile. If he was up to something, perhaps the thought of being chased off the grounds by a six foot eight, heavily muscled, young black man might dissuade him. "Alan Devarhoe." She brushed her pale hair out of her face again. "Not that there's much of a resemblance."

Oh how Zeke liked meeting new people, he always had that little plot working in his mind. Always thinking of how to get them into his bed or into there's of course he prefured getting them into their bed because the thought of waking up in the morning and them still being there scared him. He hated that idea so he was pretty damn good at getting them to take him back to their dorm and well he'd only really ever had one person back to his dorm and well never again!
"Nice to meet you." He said smilnig softly. She was rather different to girls he'd seen around here before, but then again each was different in their own right weren't they? "Yeah, i am. Hufflepuff right?" He asked as his head tilted to the side slightly taking in all of her image. "Same year as me, whats his name?" This could be the perfect time to stur some crap really, he was good at doing that... and maybe get some sympathy... that type of sex was the best! "Oh... him..." Zeke looked away and down at his shoes, before running his hand through his hair.
"Yeah i know him... i caught him in bed with my ex boyfriend... he was the other guy in our relationship." He said simply before looking at her again. "No there isn't you're much more beautiful and breath taking." He told her before looking down looking all sad and upset.

The smile could no longer hide Johanna's smirk now. Nor could her laughter remain silent much longer. "Yes, I'm a hufflepuff." She said through giggles. She tried to control her laughter as he continued talking, and threw out some story about her brother being in bed with his boyfriend. She forced a straight face, and kept eye contact with him. How could he expect her to believe that sort of story about her own brother? Alan was the least likely person she knew to jump in bed with another guy. Not only did he have a steady girlfriend, but he was scared to death of her. He was a big teddy bear under his tough exterior. "Sorry to hear that." She said with false sympathy, still playing along with the boys game. She doubted he would get much further than this conversation, but why put his hopes down. The company was enjoyable.
The broom that she was still balanced on started to rise slowly, only a few inches, so that her black boots could no longer toe the ground. She glanced to the other end of the pitch, and saw that the school brooms were out, just as they usually were this time of year. First years would be taking flying lessons on a beautiful day like this one. "Do you fly?" She asked Zeke, remaining gracefully seated on her own broom. Her broom wasn't the best model, but it was better than the ancient ones the school had to offer. She hoped that her question would be taken as an invitation to join her, rather than a yes or no. She did wish to continue this amusing conversation, but she also wanted to be back in the air.

Zeke looked at her and raised his eyebrow, this girl was odd why was she laughing he didn't understand. "You don't believe me do you? I know it's hard to believe but there was at least three others with me when i found them." He told her before running his hand through his hair, he was getting bored of this girl she wasn't as interesting as he first thought she was so maybe he should just walk away?
"I do, but i don't like it." He said simply. "I think it should be something that shouldn't be taken for granted!" He stated before running his hand through his hair once again then pulling out his baseball cap from his backpocket and slipping it on his head. "It's like magic, so many people take it for granted but there is only so far magic can take you!" He was very tempted to start talking about how people should only be allowed to use magic if they were pure bloods but he really couldn't be bothered to get into a fight right now.

Those few strands of hair that were falling in Johanna's face constantly were starting to bother her now. She lowered her hood, and pulled the elastic out her hair, once again using her ankle behind her to hold herself steady on the broom. She was aware of him talking, but only took in the gist of it as she fixed the long pony tail, and tucked it back under her sweater. "I've always loved magic." She said absently, thinking about the long days in the orphanage, when she would practice card tricks and hypnosis. She had a different definition of magic than most of the students here did, and she was well aware of that, but she never bothered clarifying. Why should it matter what she meant by magic? When she had found out that she was a witch, and would be coming to this school, she had been excited beyond belief, despite having nowhere to return to afterward. It had never bothered her that the other students had found her to be weird. She had always been abnormally good at the tricks, but as long as she always had room for improvement, the other kids seemed unimportant. Now that she was here, and wasn't the best at it, she only had more room for improvement. The opinions of the other students mattered even less now than they had back then.
"Magic and flying." She smiled at the thought, still speaking without having taken in exactly what he had said. She seemed a little spaced out. "I once tried to fly without a broom. All I managed to do was slow my fall." She looked into his eyes again, a look on her face like she was only just realizing that he was there. In actuality, she was only just realizing that she had just confessed one of her most senseless moments to a stranger. "I was just a kid though. Kid's do stupid things."
It would almost be time for classes to start now. Johanna lowered herself to the ground and stood with her broom in one hand, leaning on it. She wasn't very tall, just over five feet, and on her own feet, she seemed slimmer than she had while sitting on the broom, now that one could get a better view of her figure. So she hadn't been able to fly for very long, at least she got some amusement out of it, and she still had time left if he decided to take off. She was being rather distant with him after all, having unintentionally ignored most of what he had just said.

Zeke looked away and sighed. "I haven't, my parents took magic for granted, always using it to punish us... magic was even the reason for my whole family other then me and my sister to die!" He said rather bitterly. "My parents had a addiction to magic, always using it never stopping... always testing out new things and then one day i took my sister to get ice cream just before my birthday and i came home and... there wasn't a home there... everything was gone, blown to bits!"
Of course that was a bunch of bullshit, Zeke killed his whole family other then his sister because he had a lot of hate inside him and wanted them to pay for neglecting him over the years. "I took the lesons here and never again, flying is lame, there are better ways to get around like apparation!" He stated simply, the boy had that down to a tea and loved it. "Thats understandbale." He said simply not even really bothering to really care.
"You know i'm going to go, you don't really seem to give a damn about anything other then your piece of wood which you more then likely shove up yourself!" He said before putting his hands in his pockets and turning to leave.

Johanna was tempted, when he first started talking about magic and his family, to interrupt, and tell him that she didn't necessarily mean wand waving and spell casting. Instead she decided to hear him out. He talked about the death of his family, aside from his sister and himself. She couldn't relate in the slightest to losing a family, having gained one upon entering this school, and had no idea of what to say to him. She considered defending her view of magic, and explaining her perfectly good reason for liking it so much, but would that be appropriate after hearing what she just had?
While she considered, she paid attention to Zeke, trying to pull a different conversation piece from what he was saying. Something to stop her from blurting out a question that was on the tip of her tongue, but which was most likely the last thing he wanted to hear from anyone right now, let alone a stranger. When he made the broom comment, she smirked for a second, then straightened her face. "Clever," she said, sarcastic, "really, I've never heard that one before."
She pulled her wand out from the front of her shirt, which had just happened the be the only place it would fit in what she was wearing, her pockets only being small. With a quick wave of her wand she accio'd her bag, and strode past him smiling slightly, amused by his attempt to insult her. It was rude, but she wasn't bothered by it, as he probably assumed she would have been. She turned and walked backward toward the school, slinging her bag onto one shoulder, and leaning her broom on her neck. "So did your ex really cheat on you?" She asked, going back to a prior point in the conversation. "I know it wasn't with my brother, but how much of it was true?"

Mr Thomas slipped his hands into his pockets as he walked away, he really wasn't interested in wasting anymore breath on this girl... but she seemed to want to keep talking to him... so looks like he was going to have to reply... right? "Yes, if it makes you feel anybetter the first person i ever kissed was killed that night... then the first girl i ever dated broke up with me because she was cheating on me... then my boyfriend cheated on me and i walked in on him!"
He looked at the girl before adjusting his bag and walking still, he let out a deep sigh and looked towards the castle. "Why do you ask?" He questioned softly before running his hand through his blonde locks and taking a deep breath, he didn't want to go to first lesson he'd rather go find Fabian, and skip the whole day... that sounded like heaven really just hanging with Fabian and having fun.
"And... ok it wasn't with your brother... but it was with one of your brothers friends!" He said rather bitterly. "Same difference if you ask me, those two are attatched at the hip 24/7... so glad i'm not in the same dorm as them two."

Johanna was perplexed at his reaction to her simple question. "I only asked-" She cut herself off, deciding not to continue on that line. She looked around for another distraction when he asked why she wanted to know, and went on to admit that no, it wasn't her brother. She had to admit that if someone didn't even try to stop their best friend from sleeping with her boyfriend, she would probably resent all three of them after that. She slowed down, and turned as he passed her, walking beside him instead.
"I asked because I wanted to make sure-" she stopped again, "well.." She was getting nervous now. She wanted to say what she was thinking, but she wasn't sure how to say it, or if she wanted him to know. "I've never met any one else who... has similar interests."
What this was supposed to men was 'I know other people who like both guys and girls, but they've never really even looked at me twice, so I never really got to talk to anyone like that.' Of course, she never would have actually said that. That might give off the impression that she was a lesbian, or that she was absolutely sure of herself. All she knew so far was that there was at least one girl who had caught her attention so far.

This really wasn't something that Zeke was expecting.. another bisexual what were the odds of that? Really what were they? Zeke ran his hand through his hair and smiled softly at her. "So you like girls and guys too huh?" He questioned before looking forward and walking, it was rather interesting to find a girl that liked both but then again he knew for a fact that Alecto liked girls and guys... well girls when she was drunk anyway. "So, has anyone taken your fancy girl wise?" He asked with a small soft smile on his face.
As they walked Zeke couldn't help but think of questions to ask her, questions that he shouldn't ask her really... But ones that he wanted to know the answer too like 'how do girls have sex?' it was a rather intersting question really how did girls have sex? It wasn't like there was a penis there and well he'd never met a girl that did it with other girls so he'd never even thought about it or even wanted to ask anyone.
Zeke once again ran his hand through his hair and looked at her with a cheeky grin on his face. "So have you ever actually done anything with a girl or are you just kind of curious when it comes to the ladies?" He asked, sure she hadn't actually said she was yet but he could tell just from her slight comment that she was like him.

Johanna really didn't have much experiance with men or women, and walked silently, considering her answer before she gave it. She wasn't completely sure if she liked girls, there was really only the one girl who had caught her eye. At the same time, there were only a handful of guys who had caught her eye as well. She bit her lip softly, out of habit, but quickly stopped. Her lips always stayed pink for a long time after she did that, and Alan could always tell there was something wrong. This really wasn't something she wanted to have to discuss with him.
"There's just this one girl who's..." She thought again for a moment, "Caught my eye. I've talked to her once or twice, but that's about it." She shrugged, and kept pace with him, staring at the ground, more than a little embarrased that he had caught on so quickly. After she had said what she did, she had hoped that he wouldn't realize what she meant, and she could just tell him to nevermind. "I've never actually done anything with... anyone, really." Again, something she wished she hadn't said. Her cheeks went slightly pink again, and she continued staring intently at the ground, like she was looking for something. She snuck a glance at Zeke from the corner of her eye, under her glasses, to see his reaction, before quickly turning her view back to the ground.
[[Yes, it sucks. I'm half asleep, haha. I think I was better off posting sick.]]
