Play By: Shannyn Sossamon
Appearance:
Izzy doesn't look like your average girl, wizard or muggle. She hates dressing up, and would rather wear boyish, comfortable things. When she does dress up though, she doesn't look the slightest bit awkward or out of place. She can usually be found wearing tank tops, or tee's and dark pants, usually some sort of loose jean, which looks surprisingly good on her slim figure.
Isserly has an intense face, surrounded by a cropped mane of unruly dark brown hair, which she keeps at a legnth that is somewhere between a long boys cut, and a short girls. Her eyes are dark under full, shapely eyebrows, with short dark lashes, and her skin is soft, and though not quite tanned, has plenty of colour from the amount of time she spends outdoors.

Personality:
Isserley is highly independant. She likes to do things by herself, and hates being made to work with someone else. She greatly dislikes depending on people, and things, especially money, although her family has more than enough of that. She is very uncomfortable having to ask for help from anyone, and will wait as long as she can, putting it off until there really is no other option.
Although she does not like having to ask people favors, and the like, Izzy is a very social person. She enjoys spending time with friends, and will linger in the common room, great hall, and any other social place until everyone she knows is gone.
She also gets herself into trouble a lot. She's a thrill seeker, and gets a rush out of being in danger. She has some trouble comprehending the difference between 'too far' and 'just far enough' when it comes to this thrill seeking, and will often, not only get herself in trouble, but hurt herself as well. She's a regular in the hospital wing.
Even though Isserley greatly dislikes classtime or any sort of intellectial activity, it would be an exreme sretch to call her unintelligent. She seems to naturally absorb and recall information without even trying, or caring. She rarely pays any attention in any class, yet she can recite facts from classes days, even weeks later, like she was repeating after the professor the minute they said it. Aside from her memery for facts, she's rather scatterbrained and is constantly forgetting to do things, and misplacing things.

Father: Real, unknown. Step-father, Alexander Moore
Mother: Maryanne Endicott-Moore
Siblings: 2 step sisters
Other Family: Unknown
History:
Isserley spent the first handful of years of her life with just her mother. They weren't well off, and went through at least three run down appartments a year, until Isserley was six years old. Even in these first years of her life, Isserley was a very independant chid. She never complained about moving around, although she was more aware of what was going on around her than most children her age should be, and the only downside to her came after she had started school, when she was constantly changing schools. Isserley was more than smart enough to be passed through grades early, but none of her professors ever had the chance to see that, due to her constantly changing schools.
When Isserley was almost seven years old, her mother brought home a man late at night. Isserley, wide awake in bed, told herself this was just another one like all the men before, and minded her own bussiness. Before long though, withing weeks, her mother introdiced her to this man telling her, "We're going to go live with Alex now." Confused, but refuding to show it, Isserley packed her own bags, like she had so many times before, and got ready for the move thinking, to herself, that this was just like any other move.
She was wrong.
They stayed in this one house for longer than they had in any appartment. Isserley thrived in school, speeding through grades faster than any one could expect a child to. She never made many friends in her schools, as most of the other kids were intimidated by her, and even Alexanders two girls disliked her, due to her being 'strange'. She had a sharp wit, and caught onto things faster than they did. She did things the long, and sometimes dangerous way, and even though her intentions were usually good, ended up in trouble more often than not. The thing they disliked the most, strangely enough, was her dislike of their fathers money. They didn't understand how she could outright refuse to take his money. She only used it to get her schoolbooks. Other than that, she merely settled for what was given to her.
By the time Isserley got her letter from Hogwarts, at eleven years old, she was already preparing for her tenth grade of school, ahead of her older stap-sister, who was thirteen now, by two years. This letter confused all of them, and angered her older sister, who liked her the least of the two girls. Isserley understood her frustration. First the young girl had graded past her, while appearing not even to care, then she got this news. Now she was even more special than before. To Isserley, going to this school meant something different. It was a challenge, an unknown, and it was slightly frightening. It excited her, and she couldn't wait to go. Even to this day, the excitement of Hogwarts hasn't worn off.

Those few strands of hair that were falling in Johanna's face constantly were starting to bother her now. She lowered her hood, and pulled the elastic out her hair, once again using her ankle behind her to hold herself steady on the broom. She was aware of him talking, but only took in the gist of it as she fixed the long pony tail, and tucked it back under her sweater. "I've always loved magic." She said absently, thinking about the long days in the orphanage, when she would practice card tricks and hypnosis. She had a different definition of magic than most of the students here did, and she was well aware of that, but she never bothered clarifying. Why should it matter what she meant by magic? When she had found out that she was a witch, and would be coming to this school, she had been excited beyond belief, despite having nowhere to return to afterward. It had never bothered her that the other students had found her to be weird. She had always been abnormally good at the tricks, but as long as she always had room for improvement, the other kids seemed unimportant. Now that she was here, and wasn't the best at it, she only had more room for improvement. The opinions of the other students mattered even less now than they had back then.
"Magic and flying." She smiled at the thought, still speaking without having taken in exactly what he had said. She seemed a little spaced out. "I once tried to fly without a broom. All I managed to do was slow my fall." She looked into his eyes again, a look on her face like she was only just realizing that he was there. In actuality, she was only just realizing that she had just confessed one of her most senseless moments to a stranger. "I was just a kid though. Kid's do stupid things."
It would almost be time for classes to start now. Johanna lowered herself to the ground and stood with her broom in one hand, leaning on it. She wasn't very tall, just over five feet, and on her own feet, she seemed slimmer than she had while sitting on the broom, now that one could get a better view of her figure. So she hadn't been able to fly for very long, at least she got some amusement out of it, and she still had time left if he decided to take off. She was being rather distant with him after all, having unintentionally ignored most of what he had just said.
