Question to everyone

Hey Everyone,

First of all, let me say I'm sorry about my absense and not posting for a long while. But Well, let's just say I've reached a spot where I don't know what I have to do. I'm going to be honest with you all, cause that's probably the best way to get a solution. I've thought about giving Fractured Memories up. I'm the only admin who'se trying to be on daily, though during the holidays there have been days I just couldn't get here. I know a few of you have been trying their best to keep their character(s) active, but still, it's not as active as I want it to be.

Now there are two solutions in to this. One being I just close the entire site and hope to talk to you somewhere else... Because I can't run this site on my own, - I have another site that's been going well for one year and four months and I'm on less because I need to take care of this one too... -

Or two... We just take an entire fresh start, we keep the plots as they were, continue the storylines we set up and we just go for it. Now it's all up to you guys. I'm willing to make an effort to make it bloom, but I can't do this without your help or your input.. So, please reply to the same thread in the Question area, and tell me what you think. I really need your answers to get me going

If there are any other suggestions/idea's don't be afraid to tell me.

First, a suggestion that has seemed to work well on other sites with inactive staff: Staff applications.
I'm not suggesting to replace the old staff, after all they may just be busy, and hopefully they will come back, but taking on a new staff member to help with the load could help a lot. Just make sure it's someone you feel you can trust with the position.

About the activeness of the site, my only suggestion there is to advertise like mad. I can help with that easily, I'm in dire need of things to do right now. Just drop me a word here, and I'll get right on it. ^^

Wow, this is like deja vu for me. I had recently decided to cut the cord on my site do to this same problem - and quite honestly it would be sad to see another great site go because the admin feels so overloaded. Just as TG posted above me - some insane advertising and an active staff would help solve the major conflict - and take a load off your hands.

I think what we need here is a pick me up, send out a mass forward email telling them to get their tails back or get cut - and whoever doesn't come back gets clipped. With those possible canons open again and a group that wants to hang around back on the site, from there we can get the advertisements going and everything.

Can I just say that I love you two? Well, okay so the decission has been made. Fractured Memories will stay up and heck, I'm going to advertise my ass off like before.. Which always works as TG says. And of course, the new staff aditions might come in handy too. TG, I'd really appreciate it if you helped advertising thanks for suggesting.

So, well.. I'm going to put a few templates up, see what I can do, and normally my posts will be up by tuesday - have a busy day tomorrow -

Well Cissa, I understand your dilemma. I say keep things going like it is. I have a site as well, as you are well aware of and I'm doing my best to keep it active as well. I say we all just get on as much as we can and post with each other like made, getting the post number up. Advertising is key as well and I might be able to help. I do have a selfish request though and I ask that I get some help with my site as well. So, I invite all members here to come over and in a joint effort, we all help each other. Posting is the key I feel and I know its hard for just a few, but once people visit us and they see frequent posting with a large number of posts, I feel they will join up. So, please, anyone, pm me with a reply to this.
