We make a living by what we get, We make a life by what we give. It was a beautifully sunny day outside. The bird were chirping, the students were laughing and playing, and everything seemed peaceful. Not a cloud was in the sky.
One may be wondering, with this scenario described before them, why a student would be wandering alone in the confides of the Forbidden Forest. And along with this wonder, why would it be a seemingly helpless girl?
The "seemingly helpless" little girl happened to be not so helpless at all. In fact, any animal, enchanted or not, that crossed her path made sure not to anger or distress her. Vampires had always been at the top of the food chain, in both the wizarding and muggle realm. As for this fact, she was able to roam the forest alone without being troubled by the bright sunshine. Her thick black cloak lay over her shoulder as she walked around, looking for a way to busy herself. [/size]

| One minute, I held the key Next, the walls were closed on me. Christian was out enjoying the shade the trees of the Forest provided against the blinding sun. He enjoyed the warmth of the sun, but he frequently tired of squinting against its light. His back rested against the rough bark of one of the many trees of the forest as he lounged. His cloak was draped around him, keeping him warm in the coolness of the shade. He opened his eyes slowly as the faint sound of footsteps reached his ears. A young girl that he recognized from the Common Room was walking through the trees of the forest, seemingly lost. She was a a little more than a few paces away from him, and then walked right past him. Christian pondered her odd behavior. He rose to greet the younger girl, dusting off his cloak as he stood. A shiver along his spine warned him about some danger that he was unaware of. Something about her made him stand a little ways away as he quietly crept behind her. "So, he said, finally speaking at last, "Do you normally just walk by people in the forest?"

Isadora had always been oblivious to her surroundings, something she could never help. If you flapped like a bird and mooed like a cow in front of her, it would take her a while to notice. Well, maybe not, but still... You get the point.
Izzy was making her way deeper into the forest when a voice behind her startled her. She spun around, wand at the ready, all in one fluid motion. She paused when she recognized the face, someone she knew, but didn't, if that made any sense.
"So," Isadora retorted, eyes narrowing as she lowered her wand hand and backed into the trunk of a tree. "Do you normally sneak up on unsuspecting girls?"
