Sweatshirt and jeans… is it necessary to be so hard to find?
Okay, so maybe the fact that her room was a complete and utter mess once more didn’t help, but she was a teenager. So, technically, she couldn’t really be blamed for the unfortunate circumstances regarding the current condition of her room. All of her roommates had a similar mess in their parts of the room, so she figured she could pretty much be forgiven. As it was, though, she would have to make another trip down to the laundry room… and she would have to be careful not to overload on the soap again. That had been a disaster and the clothes she’d been wearing then smelled strongly of the detergent. Good thing they’d just been shorts and a too-big, long sleeved shirt.
Sighing, she slid on an old pair of jeans and rooted for a sweatshirt. Slipping into that as well, she shoved her hands deep into her pockets and left the common room. It was early in the morning, too early for those that are considered somewhat normal to be up, and the sun was slowly starting to rise. For once, Cloe was up and about and really wanted to see it. And, of course she had one destination in mind; the lake. It would have a swirl of fog hanging around it, she was sure, and she wasn’t disappointed when she stepped from the castle.
The ground, at least, wasn’t damp but instead hard and firm against her shoes. It was probably cold, too, but that was a lot better than cold and wet. She hadn’t thought to bring her wand with her this time, either. So, to make the ground warm beneath her bottom as she sat wouldn’t work out so great.
Her back was pressed up against a tree and her outstretched legs were just a few feet from the lake’s edge. To her slight right, the sun was coming up, filling the sky with light and erasing the darkness from the night for another day. It was an odd sight and it made her smile to herself as a hand went absentmindedly a strand of air.

The air was cold and soothing on the seventh year Gryffindor as he sat at his window and looked out at the world about him, he sighed softly and ran his hand through his hair before slipping off of his perch and heading to his trunk to get his jeans and tshirt and maybe, just maybe a hoodie so he could go out for a walk in the early morning to clear his head. The boy slipped off his bed tshirt and threw it on his bed before putting on his fresh black tshirt and then his ripped blue jeans, he pulled out a fresh pair of socks and slipped them onto his feet followed by his crisp white converse and finally put on his black and white hoodie.
Mr Thomas moved to the mirror and checked his hair before pulling out his beanie which he kept in his jeans pocket and slipped it onto his head. The boy then walked away from the mirror and headed out of the door, his mind was a mess of things and he liked walking in the morning to think things over, Zeke Thomas did think once and a while, he sunk his hands deep into his pockets as he slipped out of the castle and down towards the lake.
Having been up most of the night the cool air kept the boy awake, it was like a cold shower but with air and not water. He was rather thankful for it seeing as he needed to keep himself awake and not asleep to dream of all the bad things that seemed to be happening to him, it didn't help that he was being bothered by dreams of his dead parents which had never happened before, it was as if someone had cursed him and made it so that he couldn't ever sleep.
Upon reaching the lake Zeke leaned on a random tree and looked out at the lake with a soft sigh, before looking up at the sky and pushing himself off of the tree. As he looked back down his eyes caught sight of a girl, he smiled softly to himself and headed over towards her. He of course knew the girl and well he wasn't going to pass up a chance to sit and talk to her, yes he was going to flirt he was going to talk.
"Bit early for you isn't it?"
