Ah the Library, it was the most amazing place to Roo, full of books on History, muggles, magic, famous wizards and witches, and it even had a muggle non fiction and a fiction section. Today the young little Ravenclaw was looking for a book on famous wizards and witches, of course when your small and can't reach the top of the stacks it kind of hard to look for a book.
Veronica stood looking up at the top of this giant stack wondering how she was going to get the book down from the top, she could use a spell that was for sure but she seemed to get dumber as she stood there forgetting everything she'd learnt from books and teachers. The young girl looked around wondering if there was anyone to help her, she couldn't see anyone and besides if she tried to talk to them she'd sound like an idiot anyway so really it wasn't a good idea to ask anyone now was it?
Miss Chase then had an idea, she moved through until she found a chair and then brought it back to the stack and climbed onto the chair, she stood up looking for the book her finger tracing along the spine of each of the books hoping to find the one she wanted.
Finally!
The small girl reached for the book, it was only just out of arms reach and she refused point blank to get down and move the chair over she was in a rather lazy mood and didn't want to do that! So she reached across, her hand finally touched it and then grabbed onto it as she pulled it out of the stack she lost her balance and went crashing down to the floor below...

The handsome Hufflepuff pushed open one of the double doors that lead to the Library. His gate was slow, movements smooth and elusive, dark hair falling into his façade as he glanced around the massive room with his piercing onyx stare. He didn’t even know why he was in here. He hated the Library; usually picked on some loser that was scared of him and forced them do the research for him. L.J. wasn’t stupid, he was very intelligent, knew his curriculum like the back of his hand, it was just that he was lackadaisical, he had more important things to do like bed the hotties of Hogwarts.
He chewed on his bottom lip, heading towards the massive book casings that held the history and lore of Muggles. Muggle Studies…it was a bunch of bullnuts but super duper easy, hence why he took it. Besides, the Professor always asked him the questions, which really didn’t make since seeing as they were supposed to be the “brains”. Since when did a student know more then a teacher? Hmm…never, until now. The perks of growing up in the Muggle world.
He moved down the isle, finding the book he was looking for with the greatest of ease. Bored and not wanting to educate his mind with nonsense, he headed towards the isle that housed the history of wizards. His gaze landed on a super tiny girl, with super blonde hair. She stood on top of a chair, stretching for a book that was a good foot from her reach. He raised a brow and carried on walking, scanning the binds of the books. He looked up at her as he passed, the chair slipping from underneath her. He blinked, his arms wrapping around her slim waist, preventing her from falling. Lyre stared into her face, a little taken aback by her innocent beauty. He was slightly speechless, but a champion at hiding it.
“Are you okay?” He inquired, his vocals extra silky and vivacious.

The poor lonely Ravenclaw looked at the boy that had just caught her and well that was all she could do, she felt like such a fool and now she was in some guys arms not really knowing what to do or say. Veronica looked at the boy in front of her, she knew who he was and really didn't want to stay around him.
"I...ummm... T-t-thanks." She stuttered out softly, new people scared her they always had... that was the main reason no one spoke to her because she stuttered when she met someone for the first time. Pulling away from the boy, the Blonde haired Ravenclaw looked at Mr Lyre Lovejoy he wasn't the type of company one should keep then again neither was she.
But she wasn't out to bed everyone in the school now was she?
No she was still a pure little quiet virgin that had no friends and burried her head deep into books. "B-b-b-bye." She said softly before rushing away from him and heading towards the librarian to get her book checked out and then run away, she didn't want to be near him he wasn't the right type of boy to be her friend then again no one here was, she wasn't even the right type of person to be her friend seeing as she was a Witch and her parents didn't like that.
"Just this one please." She said softly to the librarian as she stood at the desk, Veronica looked down and bit her lip while waiting for her book. The moment it was done the small beauty picked it up and clutched it to her chest as she turned around and smacked into someone.
"S-s-s-sorry."

Lyre Lovejoy looked at the small Ravenclaw in his embrace. The expression on his façade was unreadable, his gaze sharper then knifes. Silence engulfed them and they simply stared back at one another. Then she spoke, breaking the awkward silence. He blinked, a little perplexed by this whole situation. Since when did the Virgin Mary fall into a Fallen Angel’s embrace? Never, that’s what!
A grin pulled at the corners of his lips when she started to stutter, but it was only present for a fraction. “You’re welcome.” He said, staring into her face. He couldn’t help but narrow his brow, innocence radiated of her image. He looked down and away, feeling like he was going to go to that Muggle hell a majority of them worshiped just for looking at her.
Her virtuousness blinded him!
He blinked again, brow tapering when she stammered out the word “bye” and vanished without a trace. A look of confusion, a flash of amusement, and “what the hell just happened” crossed his features. Did she just run away? She did didn’t she? That was new to the handsome Hufflepuff, most girls sought after him like a lioness on the prowl. It was borderline scary at times. He scratched his head, leaning down to pick up the book he dropped, the puzzled look gone.
He headed towards the librarian. He checked his reflection in the glass doors of the book casings. He had a tendency to do that. It wasn’t that he was conceded or anything, it just intrigued him that he could see himself. He licked his medium sized pout, his free hand running through his dark head of hair. Then someone smacked into him, his book falling to the ground. He sighed, aggravation flashing in his dark eyes.
“Its fine.” L.J. voiced, leaning down and picking up his book. “I didn’t hurt you did I? You’re kind of small, I didn’t see you.” He admitted, glancing at the girl.

Veronica looked down slightly she really didn't want to make eye contact with him, there was something about him that made her just want to run away... What was it, oh yeah he had a rep for hopping into girl's beds and then running away well Roo was one girl who's bed he wouldn't get into why was that? Because she wasn't that type of girl, she didn't sleep with people she was waiting till after she had gotten married!
"I...I sh-sh-should of lookedwhere i-i-i-i was going..." She said softly as she looked down, her eyes moved towards the book that he'd dropped and then bent down and picked it up, she held it out to him and smiled softly. "No... I-i-i-i'm f-f-f-fine..." Well of course she was small that was the reason she was called Roo!
One thing was for sure she couldn't look at him, she felt that if she looked at him she'd be sinning because she's be looking at a sinner and just from looking at him, finding him slightly attractive it would be a sin wouldn't it? Well to her parents it would be everything was a sin to them.
Veronica glanced down at the book he had and then glanced up at him. "T-t-t-thats a ummm g-g-g-goodbook." Her voice was nothing more then a little whisper, she was scared to talk any louder but then again this was the level she always spoke unless it was to her brother or she was praying.
The small Ravenclaw girl clutched her book and looked down scared to look up at the handsome Romeo that had caught her.

Lyre’s brow raised when he looked upon the little Ravenclaw that was clutching her book to her small chest. He was a good foot and a half taller then her; she was itty bitty, so small and innocent. Her innocence’s kind of made him feel sick to his stomach. Oh yeah, he was doomed for that Muggle hell that his mother spoke about. He had a one-way ticket to the pit with the bedding numbers he pulled.
She started stammering again, which made him grin boyishly, nothing but devious tendencies dancing in his dark eyes. “You’re fine, don’t worry about it yeah.” He told her, licking his bottom lip, which only made him appear more alluring then he intended too. He couldn’t help but observe that she didn’t look at him. Why wasn’t she looking at him? It left him a little perplexed. Was he, for once, ugly to a girl? He made a face, one that went undetected by the little Virgin Mary. He couldn’t help but smile at her when she handed him his book. “Thanks…” he said, his voice soft. He licked his lip, sighing softly. “Are you sure you’re fine? I mean, I bumped into you pretty hard.” He said, running his free hand through his dark hair.
L.J. looked away from her and down at the ground, hair falling into that God-like exterior of his. “It’s an okay book.” He said simply, looking at her. His head cocked to the side as he studied her. Was it just him or did she get quieter and quieter the longer he stood next to her? Was she scared of him?

Maybe this boy was actually the devil, after all he was a very naughty boy the things he got up to where very naughty and not the type of thing a girl like Roo would get up to, then again the bible was full of sex a lot of it was about sex if you read between the lines on a lot of it you would see the ammount of sex that filled the holy book!
Veronica nodded softly when he told her not to worry about it, she glanced up at him then looked back down. Why was he still talking to her? No one ever spoke to her, she was like always ignored by everyone picked on for everything she was bullied beyond belief and yet she managed to keep her head held high and keep a smile on her face.
Looking up at him properly for the first time since he'd held her in his arms the Ravenclaw girl looked into his eyes and then spoke softly. "I-i-i-i'm fine... you d-d-d-don't need to worry aboutme! N-n-n-n-no one else does." She said softly before looking down at her feet.
Figuring this was the right time to leave she looked up at him for a second and then spoke softly. "You should give reading more of a chance." She looked at him in the eyes then turned on her heel and started walking out of the library, there was no point in sticking around to listen to an empty conversation really now was there? No not really, but then again who knows what might of happened if she stayed around...
maybe... just maybe... she might of made a friend...

Lyre just looked at Roo. She was relatively attractive, cute, petite, just the way he liked ‘um. Well, he liked pretty-pretty girls, but there was something about the innocent virgin standing before him that drew his eye to her. He couldn’t explain it, she was stunning in her own right, totally not his type, but she intrigued him.
Oddly enough.
His tongue ran along his bottom lip again, his dark eyes squinting slightly. She looked at him, he stared right back. He held her gaze, his eyes piercing. His orbs trailed from her azure eyes down to her pout and up again. She had a nice set of lips, her aquamarine ojos bewitching. “Who said I was worrying? I was just making sure.” He replied, smirking at her faintly.
He looked away from her when she looked down. The he glanced at her, their eyes locking with one another’s once again. “I do, when I feel like it.” He told her, watching her turn on her heel and vanish, once again. L.J. sighed, his hand going through his hair again.
What the hell?
She was scared of him. That much he knew.

Looking at the boy she bit her lip softly, who did he think he was? Undermining her like this? She ran her hand through her long blonde hair and looked at him. "Well.. y-y-you d-d-don't need to!" She said simply feeling like she was being mocked by him.
Deciding not to listen any more the girl walked out of the library not even bothering to reply to his comment, it was clear that he didn't feel like it a lot because well he seemed to have a libido like a rabbit and a brain like a fish! She headed down the hall clutching her book and ignoring the looks and comments from people around her, it was a shame that someone so nice was treated this way.
Then again no one ever seemed to care about others really did they?
Roo had found that people only really cared about themselves and the people close to them and well to her there wasn't anyone close to her other then her brother and he lived far away from her which really sucked. Veronica was totally alone, missing her life before school ever happened, missing her life when she knew she was normal.
Tears slowly filled her eyes as she walked, quickly she pulled up her hood over her head to hide the tears that were starting to fall. Moving down the hall the girl pushed her way through people trying to get outside, that was until she felt someone's hand on her arm.

Lyre looked away from the small blonde Ravenclaw and sighed. He stared at nothing in particular, just couldn’t bring himself to look upon the Virgin Mary anymore. He played with his bottom lip and glanced at her when she stuttered, unable to string together a single sentence. He raised a brow, dark bangs falling into his eyes. He just watched her go, rolling those pretty onyx orbs of his.
Females were nothing but drama, especially prudes and V Card careers!
He sighed, handed his book to the Librarian and leaned up against the desk, waiting patiently for her to issue him his book. His tongue played with his bottom lip, thoughts scatter brained, face unreadable. He took hold of the text when the Librarian handed it back to him and left the room, heading in the direction of the Hufflepuff common room.
He froze however, thoughts going back to the little blonde Saint. Maybe he should apologize… He was kind of an ass towards her. He turned around, spotting her as he made her way through the sea of people. He caught up to her, grabbing hold of her arm gently.
“Look, I’m sorry if it came off as mocking.” He said, staring into her blue eyes. “Forgive me?” He asked her, face soft, eyes lighting up wishfully.

As the tears slowly trickled down Veronicas face she turned to see who had her arm, her eyes locked on to that boy again, her lips parted and then closed as he spoke, he said sorry? Wow that was something she never expected before. "You're the first person to ever say sorry to me since i've been at school." She said softly as she looked at him, the tears stopped flowing and a look of shock appeared on her face.
Slowly she nodded and smiled weakly. "Yeah, your forgiven." She said looking at him. "Ummm, I'm Veronica." Her words were soft and angelic as she looked at him and spoke. She didn't really know what else to say, she would ask him to hang out if she thought that he actually was saying sorry to not just make himself feel better.
She didn't know really...
The girl wasn't the best judge of character ever!
When she was at home she never really had many friends there so it was hard to know who to talk to and trust and who not to trust, she found it hard to open up to people because of this. That was why no one really understood her!

Lyre Lovejoy sighed softly, biting down on his bottom lip in deep thought. He just looked into the little Ravenclaw’s big blue eyes, the expression on his façade soft. “Seriously?” He asked her, a little taken aback by her statement. He was the only person, in the history of Hogwarts to apologize to her? d**n… His hand went through his dark head of hair, taking in the tears that stained her high-cheekbones. He smiled when she forgave him for his assholish nature. “I’m glad.” He told her, smiling innocently at her. When she told him her name, his head tilted to the side, smile turning boyish. “A beautiful name for a beautiful young woman.” He said. “I’m Lyre.” He extended his hand, waiting for her to take hold of it and shake. The look on his stunning demeanor was warm, kind, no trace of roughish tendencies or anything. He genuinely was trying to get to know her, not bed her…yet! [/blockquote]

The small Ravenclaw looked at the handsome Hufflepuff and nodded softly. "Seriously..." She said softly looking down at her shoes, no one liked her so why would they say sorry to her? "No one really talks to me, and when they do it's normally to bully me so why would they say sorry for that?" She asked softly.
The girl played with a strand of her hair and looked at her shoes for a little while longer before looking up at him and giving him a soft smile when he said he was glad. She was brought up learning to forgive people so why not forgive him for being a bit of a jerk and admitting that he had been. A small blush appeared on her cheeks when he gave her a compliment. "You think i'm beautiful?" She asked rather shocked.
Roo took hold of his hand and shook it softly. "Nice to meet you Lyre." She said softly and sweetly, this guy was really the type of guy that Roo wished she'd met in her first year it was hard to find people that were actually rather kind to her when they wanted to be.

Lyre just held the little Ravenclaw’s gaze and nodded. “Yes seriously.” He stated, bangs in his handsome façade. He chewed on his bottom lip, eyes glued on her tiny little image. “Well, for the record, most students here are plebs.” He said, shrugging his broad shoulders and looking away from her. “Let ‘um shove a broomstick up their bums and twist it to the left yeah.” He stated, smiling innocently at her.
He watched her closely with his insightful eyes. His smile grew wider, more boyish when he noticed the cherry tone flashing on her cheeks. Aww cute, he made her blush! He licked his bottom lip, dark eyes intense and he leaned towards her, lips centimeters from her ear. “Of course I do. You’re stunning in your own right Veronica.” He said, eyes staring into her azure ones, vocals soft and pleasant.
He shook her hand when she placed her rather small one into his. “Pleasure tis’ all mine,” He said elegantly, lifting her small and delicate hand to his pout and brushing his lips against her smooth skin. He gazed into her eyes, the expression on his image friendly before he let go of her hand.
