Personality:Alexis is a true Ravenclaw in every sense of the word. She is extremely hard-working, fiercely loyal, and as genuine a person as anyone would ever meet. She speaks her mind whenever she can (and even when she probably shouldn't) and does anything she can for her friends. She hates the kinds of stereotypes that are put on a lot of Ravenclaws, especially of their being pushovers or wishy-washy, or more specifically always having their noses in one book or another. If anyone asked her, she would most definitely put them in their place. No one can tell this Ravenclaw what to do, what to say, or how to act; she’s a bit of a free spirit in that regard.
Well Alexis is really a free spirit actually. She has a sort of dreamy quality about her that is hard to describe... Alexis is as vibrant as anyone you will ever meet. She takes delight in the smallest things in life, and treasures every fun moment that she can. She loves living the fast life, and wringing every last bit of excitement out of every second of every day. The idea that there could be something she's missing out on bothers her immensely, and because of that nagging feeling that she has to do everything there is to do, she rarely ever gets any sleep. She's known for staying up until all hours doing god knows what, all by herself.
She doesn't have a problem with the way she lives, even though other people have told her that she's eventually going to kill herself from lack of sleep. She just loves to experience life; to experience absolutely everything. She loves to party and lets loose at every opportunity. She loves to plan events and go to other people's parties and just live every moment as if it were her last.
During the day Alexis comes off as extremely spacey and tends to trip herself up all the time. She often seems disheveled and is always running late for something or other, her hair messily tied up in a bun and her rucksack almost falling off her arm. If it weren't quite already obvious thanks to grades that she was smart, you really wouldn't be able to tell by the way she handles herself. Alexis is very scatterbrained. While some people have claimed it is rather endearing, she absolutely hates the way she dithers around looking like an idiot looking for things. She tends to lose her belongings all the time, and often misplaces books or quills or shoes and has to spend ages looking for them in her room. She also seems to have quite a problem with punctuality; tending to be a consistent five to ten minutes late for everything.
At the heart of it there are few people out there as genuine as Alexis Greyback. Every emotion that comes from her is exactly how she's feeling, and she never bothers to restrain her emotions or hold anything back. She wants to live hard and fast with no apologies. She acts towards people the way she feels, and always tells the truth...even when that isn't always the best option. She doesn't take nuts from anyone, and won't let people act nutsty towards her. She has no problem confronting people...and she'll tell them the things they don't want to hear. She cares deeply for others, and treasures her friends more than anything. She also is sharp naturally, and has a keen witty sense of humor. She has a load of fun playing tricks or jokes on her friends, especially when things get boring around the castle. She loves to joke and laugh more than anything, and you can usually hear her over everyone else on the Great Hall telling some crazy story to all of her friends.
Alexis' most prominent feature, perhaps is that she's incredibly beguiling. Blessed with a wry sort of charm, she could sell you a handful of muddy rocks if she had to for about double the price your house is worth. There's something about the way she articulates herself that is entirely convincing and completely engrossing - when she wants to be, anyway. She tends to bend rules about as far as they can go, and because of that she lands herself into a lot of trouble. Luckily, as good as she is at getting into messes, she’s just as good at worming her way out of it. One of Alexis' greatest and most famous talents is that she can come up with the most airtight bullnuts story ever created. When she's making up a complete bullnuts lie she has such an ease in the way she talks that it's almost impossible not to believe her from the tone itself. While she can never lie to her friends, she can spin the most believable tale you've ever heard in your life completely extemporaneously. She also has a gift for forgery and loves to mimic other people's handwriting style. Needless to say, she's a must sought-after accomplice for pranks and schemes.
When it comes to school she enjoys it but isn't obsessed with getting perfect grades. She is smart but not at the top of her class. She likes to do well but is not competitive. She wants to learn things for herself and only herself. If it weren't for her insatiable curiosity about the world then she might not even be in school at all. Alexis is the kind of person who does whatever suits her fancy at the moment. She is flighty and does things literally on a whim. However at the moment the most intriguing thing to her happens to be learning....which is good at least for her grades. It’s not uncommon to see her huddled in the library surrounded by a moat of books and papers. She likes to study late at night especially, and tends to get most of her work done while everyone else is sleeping. This leads to the incorrect assumption that she never works. On the contrary, she studies an incredible amount in order to do well in her classes. The only class where she truly excels is Herbology. She takes a lot of pride in how well she can care for and identify plants, even if some people think that Herbology is a silly waste of time. She usually comes tops in her Herbology classes simply because she loves plants probably more than the average student does. Which is weird. But Alexis is nothing if not a little different.
Really she is a person who is driven by her own desires - whatever appeals to her at the moment she'll do. She thrives on risk and adrenaline and loves to feel any kind of rush through her veins. She loves the freedom that comes with endless partying, sleepless nights, and no rules. She's also a highly poetic soul deep deep down there and treasures the kind of beauty that a lot of other people might not notice. She doesn't muse on about her feelings on art or love or anything like that - but people who know her well know that she sometimes thinks about the most random and ridiculous things in profound ways. However most of the time she is a gregarious girl who thrives on excitement and is just trying to get her life together and have a good time.

Father: Fenrir Greyback
Mother: Noel Hooper - she thinks, can't be quite sure
Siblings: Two elder brothers, who, like her, were taken in by the Greyback clan.
Other Family: n.a
History:Born to the parents of Fenrir Greyback and (whom she supposed was) Noel Hooper. According to her father, who was never shy when it came to sharing information, he couldn't remember which of the many women he had all but forced himself upon had actually become pregnant. All Alexis knew for sure was that her mother had been knocked up in a shady corner of a night club, and most defiantly not by choice. Fenrir, a rather sadistic fellow, liked to keep tabs on his so called conquests, and it didn't take long for him to catch on that this particular one night stand had ended up with bigger results than he had been expecting. Nine months after that fateful mauling Alexis Esmeralda was born. Had Noel not been extremely religious, it is most likely that she would have gone to St. Mungo's to have the pregnancy terminated, not wanting any sort of reminder of the pain she had experienced that night. Needless to say, when Fenrir stormed the maternity ward the night of Alexis' birth, Noel was more than happy to turn over the repulsive child.
Fenrir, certainly neither the doting nor fatherly type, most definitely was not a moron. He had acquired two other children over the years, one born only a few months before Alexis herself was, and knew what it meant to undertake raising children. Well, at least he knew that he'd enjoy turning them into werewolves when the time came. Luckily for Alexis, or, unfortunately as the case may be, he wanted to wait until they were old enough to... appreciate the transformation. For her, it was on her eighth birthday that she was bitten - apparently it was a gift of sorts. To her however, her life had just ended. She knew it was coming, had known for for quite awhile - and there was nothing she could do about it, really, aside from simply accept her fate and deal with it.
While not completely unexpected, receiving her letter to Hogwarts was a humongous relief; she and her brothers had dared not to mention the fact that they were terrified of not being able to attend the school due to their blood status. Or even worse: one of them being accepted, but not the others. Together they could get through anything, as they had their transformations, but separate them and you were practically writing their death sentence. Unfortunately, while they were all accepted to Hogwarts, it was not long before they were separated anyway. Sitting still for what felt like an eternity, she was more than slightly terrified that the hat would be unable to sort her, to insist that she was much too much of a squib to attend the school. It came as a great relief, naturally, when the brim of the hat opened wide and shouted 'RAVENCLAW!' That being said, when her elder brother took the stool for his own sorting, it took all of two seconds before the hat declared him a Slytherin, sending him to join their eldest brother at their table.

There were very few things that Annaleise would never admit to; in fact, if she had to try to count them on them her hands, she be able to use all of two or three fingers. Wearing her feelings on her sleeves was something she was almost famous for, and quite ofter got her into trouble. She should really learn to keep her big blasted mouth shut every now and then, but she didn't particularly care what others thought of her, so at the same time there was no need to tread carefully. Pausing a moment from pulling on her stockings, she stared off into space, contemplating the pros and cons of, as her mother liked to call it, learning some common decency... Nah. Wasn't her cup of tea. If the tables had been reversed she'd much rather someone tell her that her breath smelt of onions that had been left in the sun too long than to go around all day not knowing. Perhaps everyone else could learn to loosen up a bit. Yeah, that could work. She'd be willing to help them learn how to. There. Problem solved. Slow smile sliding across her face, she returned her attention to her stockings which were currently bunched around her knee caps. Which reminded her! Right. The few things she didn't want to admit to anyone. Well, number one was that her father made the world's best pancakes. Those special delights were something that she wanted to be selfish about and keep to herself. He only made them on special occasions anyway, so she equated pancakes with momentous events. Some day she'd share that fact with someone, but for the time being it was going to be her little secret. Number two - she was scared nutsless of this meeting she had with Severus Snape.
It was no secret that she had an almost childish crush on the young man - she'd be more surprised if he didn't know than if he did. She openly flirted with him, had been doing so for years, but he had yet to comment on it. If she didn't know any better she'd say that he was completely oblivious to it. But that simply couldn't be the case, for he was far too intelligent to not notice something for what it was. But she was rambling. Well, not really. It wasn't as if she was speaking out loud. Was she? Pausing once again in the process of getting dresses, she quickly glanced around the room, relieved that her room mates weren't giving her odd looks. Again. Allowing a small sigh out, she pushed herself up from her bed, all but skipping to her chest to grab a light sweater to wear. Pulling it on one sleeve at a time, she swung her bag over her left shoulder, waving goodbye to her friends with her right hand. She had told them where they could find her if they really needed her, but she was crossing her fingers that they'd leave her alone, for a few hours at least. Which reminded her once more that she was nervous about attending this meeting. She had been avoiding the real reason her heart was racing a mile a minute for days, but as she descended the staircase to the common room, she finally let it come to her. It had nothing to do with the fact that she'd be spending time alone with Severus, she was thrilled about that. It was... well... they were going to be working on a Defense Against the Dark Arts project. There. She admitted it. Annaleise Noel MacFarlan absolutely sucked at that class, and just her luck, the one time she's paired with the guy she'd been crushing on for four years and she was going to make an even bigger fool out of herself than normal.
Hanging her head the slightest bit, she acutely felt the rush of blood to her cheeks, knowing from years upon years of experience that she was blushing. It occurred more often than not, causing her neck, cheeks, bridge of her nose and her ears to turn beet red. Her fair complexion was easily to see through, so so much for hiding her embarrassment. Feeling unusually gloomy, she gave small nods to her house mates she ran into in the common room, not stopping to make conversation. If she was going to appear a total idiot in front of Sev, the least she could do was make sure she arrived on time. Letting loose a final sigh, she hiked her bag up further on her shoulder and lifted her head, determined set to her features. She could do this. She could, and she would. The first step would be to make the blasted blush fade away before the joined her partner in the room. Quite a feat in and of itself, but when one has their mind made up, anything is possible.
Giving a shake of her head, she felt her dirty blonde hair brush forward against her cheeks. Her hair was her Plan B. When she couldn't force her embarrassment away, at least her hair was long enough to cover most of the damage. Hair set, bag in place, blush fading away, she was ready. All she needed to do now was march up the final flight of stairs and enter the Room of Requirement. Easy enough. It was as she was mounting the final few steps when her luck ran out. As usually happens to her, she tripped, falling flat on her face. Great, she thought, pushing herself up onto her elbows to look behind her, trying to find the source of her misfortune this time. All in all she wasn't too surprised to see what was undoubtedly a first year slumped partway down the staircase. Bizarre. Not unusual of course, but still bizarre nonetheless. Having convinced herself to rise once more to her feet, she was on her way to help the poor fellow up when the staircase decided that it was a good time to change positions. Poor buggar. Ah well - someone else would be by soon enough to help him out. They always were.
Turning on her heel, Anna picked up her bag she had dropped in the fall, replacing it once more on her arm, and made her way to arched door she could see clearly in the middle of the lest hand side of the wall. So he was already there. That was a good thing, right? At least she wasn't being stood up. That thought dragged her mind to the idea that this meeting could be considered a date. Well, not really, but the thought was enough to send her into a dreamy state, smile drawn forward. Feeling as if she was floating the last few steps to the Room of Requirement, she threw open the door, wide grin on her face. Had she been paying any attention at all, she would have realized that the force with which she opened the door had caused it to swing back just as quickly, hitting her in the arm. "Ow!" she exclaimed, turning to give the door the glare it deserved. "Stupid door," she grumbled, shutting it with her foot and sending it one last evil look before she turned around to notice the other person in the room. He was reading - oh how cute! Annaleise, idly rubbing her forearm where the door had hit her, hopped her way over to the comfortable looking couch he had provided, plopping down on it with a grateful sigh. Now that she was here and dealing with her fears, her nerves had died down to a manageable level, thankfully. "Whatcha up to?" she asked, swinging her legs up on the couch with her, wrapping her arms around her knees. "Something for the project?"
